Anadolu Isuzu’s “Driver Alert” project takes home an award from the International Smart Mobility Systems Summit

Anadolu Isuzu, the commercial vehicle brand of Turkey, won an award for its “Driver Alert” project in the ‘Mobility Technology (Product)’ category at the 3rd Smart Way of Mobility Awards, presented as part of the third edition of the International Smart Mobility Systems (AUS) Summit, organized by SummITS. Anadolu Isuzu continues to work on smart vehicles and smart city applications, and aims to protect the drivers and thereby the communities with its “Driver Alert” project, which involves detecting the drivers’ fatigue and failing concentration and alerting them.

 

The onboard application detects the driver’s fatigue and helps avoid accidents that may result from failing concentration. The system that detects loss of concentration communicates alerts if the driver is distracted by not keeping his eyes on the road or by checking his cell phone, and helps the driver to refocus his attention to driving and the road.
