Isuzu Citiport 12, on the roads of Tetovo, North Macedonia

Anadolu Isuzu vehicles, developed in Turkey, already operate in several European cities. Most recently, the award-winning Citiport 12, designed in line with the public transportation trends of the future, began to serve the city of Tetovo in North Macedonia. Anadolu Isuzu delivered five Citiport 12 buses to Tetovo Municipality, continuing to grow and expand in the international public transportation segment. Fatmir Besimi, North Macedonian Minister of Finance, and Teuta Arifi, the Mayor of Tetovo, attended the delivery ceremony at the Tetovo Municipality on January 17, 2021.

 

In the last 3 years, Anadolu Isuzu has delivered a total of 531 units of Isuzu Citiport model buses more than 250 units of which have been delivered to Romania by EBRD Constanta, Sibiu, and Iasi tenders, which has strict requirements. Isuzu Citiport product family proved its performance and quality by successfully running fleets in Romania, Israel, Poland, France, North Macedonia, Belgium, Moldova, and other markets internationally.

Citiport 12, designed by considering the public transportation needs of metropolitan cities and municipalities, came to life with the “ideal solution for public transportation” concept. Citiport 12, winner of the “Europe's most comfortable and ergonomic bus” award in 2015, is powered by a Cummins engine that generates 300 HP and 1200 Nm torque and features a ZF Ecolife fully automatic transmission that delivers superior handling and excellent driving experience. With a low-floor design, spacious interiors, kneeling capability and an easy-to-use wheelchair ramp, Citiport 12 ensures an accessible journey for all types of passengers. 

 

Thanks to features, including EBS, ABS and ASR braking systems, along with an integrated retarder, hill-holder, independent air suspension and a built-in closed circuit camera system, Citiport 12 makes traveling in the heavy city traffic safe for both the passengers and the driver. Citiport 12, which is offered with features such as an ergonomic instrument panel, full or semi driver's cabin, digital air conditioning, optional heated driver's seat, passenger counting system and automatic engine oil filling system, enhances the driver’s comfort significantly.
