Anadolu Isuzu as one of Turkey's leading commercial vehicle manufacturers, has become the automotive brand obtaining the highest number of patents with the innovative projects realized in its R&D Center, in the "R&D 250" list prepared by Turkishtime magazine. Anadolu Isuzu was ranked 31st in the top 250 list of companies that produce in automotive, technology, fuel, white goods and textiles sectors and make the most R&D spending.
Stating that the number of patents and design applications was 498 as of the end of 2019, Anadolu Isuzu General Manager Tuğrul Arıkan said that: “We lead our industry with the innovative works we carry out in our R&D center, which is one of the first R&D centers approved by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Industry in 2009. Anadolu Isuzu R&D center, with more than 100 R&D employees, is working to ensure Isuzu brand attaining the best position in the public transportation sector and freight transportation segment by carrying out the development stages of trucks, vans, buses and midibuses. Anadolu Isuzu, one of the automotive brands that made the highest number of patent applications in 2017, works specifically for the technological equipment and applications of the vehicles according to the expectations of different countries and different customers, and designs them to meet their needs.
Capacity to produce with the most advanced technologies
In Anadolu Isuzu R&D Center, which has the capacity to produce with the most advanced technologies without the need for imported solutions, vehicles can be prepared at full capacity from design to equipment, through tests to quality control. Many tests such as 20 m of long air conditioning (-40 / + 65°C) test chamber, R29 pendulum impact test, 18 m of stability test for vehicles up to 60 tons in length, acoustic performance test with Alpha cabin, uniaxial hydraulic component fatigue test, SORT (standardized fuel consumption) test, NVH (noise and vibration) tests, TASE (thermal and aerodynamic), vehicle dynamics, road, brake and performance tests can be performed at Anadolu Isuzu, which puts new testing and analysis possibilities into use with the new R&D Center. Anadolu Isuzu, which also provides R&D Center test and analysis facilities as an outsourcing service to companies operating in all sectors and in need, provides such services to the entire automotive sector.
