Anadolu Isuzu's Voice Alert System VOICE recognized with TESID’s Innovation Award

Turkey's commercial vehicle brand Anadolu Isuzu was recognized with an award by the Turkish Electronics Manufacturers Association (TESİD) for its voice alert system VOICE. Anadolu Isuzu won the special jury award in the large enterprise category at TESİD’s 19th Innovation and Creativity Awards.

 

The voice alert system VOICE (Vehicle of Integrated Communication Environment) that Anadolu Isuzu developed is a testament to the company’s innovation focus. The idea that the drivers become distracted by the many innovative features added to the vehicles’ instrument clusters to improve safety and comfort inspired the development of the system. The VOICE alert system communicates the visual warnings that appear on the screen in audio format to the drivers. This allows the drivers to be informed about the vehicle and its current condition as they keep their eyes on the road. The system, a first in commercial vehicles, is capable of communicating the alerts and recommendations in different languages.

 

Elevating the prestige of products developed in Turkey

 

With the Innovation and Creativity Award, TESİD aims to recognize the companies’ in-house innovation and creativity approaches, create synergy in this field, tap into the strengths and address development areas. TESİD’s Innovation and Creativity Awards elevate the prestige of products developed in Turkey and encourage cooperation between companies and academic institutions. In 2020, TESİD expanded the scope of the awards, previously presented in the SME and Large Enterprise categories, by adding the Startup and PhD Thesis awards.
