Anadolu Isuzu recognized with the “Golden Exporter” award by the Uludağ Automotive Industry Exporters’ Association

Turkey’s commercial vehicle manufacturer Anadolu Isuzu was recognized with an award by the Uludağ Automotive Industry Exporters’ Association. Anadolu Isuzu, which continued to produce and deliver seamlessly during the pandemic, won the “Golder Exporter” award at the “2020 OIB Export Excellence Awards” organized by the Uludağ Automotive Industry Exporters’ Association. Ali İhsan Yeşilova, Supervisory Board Member at OIB, presented the award to Hakan Kefoğlu, Export Director at Anadolu Isuzu. Speaking at the awards ceremony, Ali İhsan Yeşilova congratulated Anadolu Isuzu for its excellent performance in exports at an unprecedented time. Yeşilova said, “The industry had a very challenging year. Yet, Anadolu Isuzu continued to produce and deliver throughout the pandemic, driving the industry and our country forward in international markets.”

 

Year-end production target of 4,000 units and export target of 1,100 units

 

Anadolu Isuzu, Turkey’s champion midibus exporter for the last 15 years, is the leader of the midibus segment according to the Turkish Exporters’ Assembly’s (TIM) Top 1000 Export Companies of Turkey list. The vehicles that Anadolu Isuzu’s R&D Center develops by considering the needs of the company’s target markets are highly favored by the Europen municipalities in particular. Currently exporting buses and midibuses to more than 40 countries, mostly EU states, Anadolu Isuzu aims to expand its international markets to over 60 by 2023. Targeting nearly 4,000 units in production and 1,100 units in exports by the end of the year, Anadolu Isuzu continues to deliver orders from the domestic and international markets on time.
