Anadolu Isuzu, Garenta, KIA and KNS Otomotiv joined forces for healthcare workers
Anadolu Isuzu has been involved in various activities to make a meaningful difference for the community since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the company recently joined forces with Garenta, KIA and KNS Otomotiv to produce intubation cabinets and biological specimen collection cabins. The cabins and cabinets that will be produced as part of the project that aims to protect healthcare staff from the virus will be delivered to the hospitals in need.
The intubation cabinets, made to provide maximum protection for the healthcare workers during the COVID-19 testing process, protect the physicians from the aerosols during the intubation procedure as the patient is on the operating table as well as the healthcare staff as they collect the specimens. The interior of the cabinet is disinfected after each procedure to ensure that the next patient is not infected. The biological specimen collection cabin is used for the protection of nurses and physicians during the procedure. With the ultraviolet light system inside the cabin, it is cleaned within minutes after each use and prepared for the next patient. Once an infected or suspected individual enters this cabin, a specimen can be collected without any contact thanks to the insulated openings. This ensures minimum exposure to the virus both by the healthcare worker and the person entering the cabin.
The cabins and cabinets specially produced for healthcare workers as part of the project, which Anadolu Isuzu, KIA and Garenta support together with all their brands, will be delivered to the hospitals in the coming days.
Anadolu Group recently announced that it has allocated resources amounting to TL 30 million and donated TL 5 million to the National Solidarity Campaign.
