The fully electric Isuzu NovoCITI Volt wins ABC Design Award

Turkey's commercial vehicle brand Anadolu Isuzu has added a new one to the awards it has been granted at the prominent design competitions and organizations of the world. Anadolu Isuzu's fully electric public transportation model, NovoCITI Volt, was deemed worthy of an award in the Transportation category at the ABC Design Award, one of the prestigious competitions of the design world.

The ABC Design Award is organized by the German Design Council, which also organizes the "German Design Award", one of the most important design competitions in the world. At the ABC Design Award, a competition and award organization that focuses entirely on designs in the field of mobility, applications are evaluated by an independent jury composed of experts in various design disciplines.

The evaluation criteria of the global design competition ABC Design Award’s jury for the mobility solutions of the future include the successful blending of certain standards such as function, aesthetics, and material use with a holistic perspective.

R&D, one of Anadolu Isuzu's most important power sources
Anadolu Isuzu General Manager Tuğrul Arıkan made the following in his assessment regarding the subject:

Being awarded at the ABC Design Award organized by the "German Design Council" with the NovoCITI Volt, which we exported for the first time in 2021, is considerably valuable for us. Providing its passengers with a spacious interior design and a comfortable travel atmosphere, NovoCITI Volt's high-performance batteries offer a range of up to 300 km with its 211kWh capacity. Thanks to the batteries placed on the roof and the balanced weight distribution, the passenger capacity of the NovoCITI Volt can reach up to 52.
Giving priority to corporate responsibility and sustainability, Anadolu Isuzu aims to strengthen its position in the market with the practices implemented in the production processes and the environmentally friendly vehicles it produces.
