Anadolu Isuzu ranks first in the commercial vehicles sector according tothe CDP evaluation

Turkey's commercial vehicle brand Anadolu Isuzu continues its accomplishmentsregarding environmental protection and sustainability. Anadolu Isuzu has ranked first in Turkey's commercial vehicles sector in the assessment made by the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), the most prestigious global reporting platform in its field. Prepared for the first time in 2022 in accordance with the rigorous standards set by the CDP and shared with the public, Anadolu Isuzu's CDP report includes the details of its performance in the fight against the climate crisis. Within the report, the company presents its efforts focusing on a low-carbon economy as well as environmental sustainability strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and the practices that have been implemented in line with its commitments.

 

Based on the evaluation made by the CDP,Anadolu Isuzu gota B score, positioning it infirst place among the companies operating in the field of commercial vehicle production in Turkey. The B score, which mainly focuses on environmental managementperformance, is given to companies that achievesuccessful management by addressing the environmental impacts of their businesses.

Sustainability-focused steps by Anadolu Isuzu

 

Implementing numerous projects regarding sustainability,Anadolu Isuzu installed a high-capacity solar power plant on the roof of its facilities in Çayırovaaiming to use green energy in production at the highest rate. With an installed capacity of 5,500 MWp, the power plant produces 55% of the energy required by Anadolu Isuzu production facilities. The company aims to increase this rate to 70% in the second phase of the project. Anadolu Isuzu reflects the importance it attaches to sustainability in its environmentally friendly and innovative vehicles as well. The company won the "Sustainable Bus of the Year 2022" award in Europe with its environmentally friendly Isuzu Kendo/Interliner 13 CNG model, which has a 100% biogas compatible CNG engine. The Big·e, Anadolu Isuzu's 100% electric, domestic and environmentalist model in the new segment getting ready to be on the market also stands out.
