Anadolu Isuzu Brought Home Two Awards from Italy

Anadolu Isuzu brought home two awards from the Italy-based A’ Design Awards, one of the world’s most prestigious design competitions that recognizes the best designs, design concepts, products and services. Kendo and Grand Toro models, created by the Anadolu Isuzu Design Office, competed in the “Vehicle, Mobility and Transportation Design” category of the A’ Design Awards. Selected by a jury of design professionals, academics and writers, Kendo won the Gold A’Design Award, and Grand Toro the Silver A’Design Award.

Previously, Anadolu Isuzu won three prizes in 2018 in the “Vehicle, Mobility and Transportation Design” category of the A’ Design Awards, where the Anadolu Isuzu R&D Design Team was also recognized with the “Innovator of the Year” award.

Kendo offers maximum comfort for the driver and passengers

The 13-meter Kendo, ideal as a shuttle bus, school bus and short-distance intercity bus, stands out as one of the first vehicles to reflect Anadolu Isuzu’s digital, sharp and technological design language. Dramatic proportions, an aerodynamic body, dynamic LED indicators and daytime running lights, a digital dashboard, and a design to enhance user experience all support the new expression of the CNG-powered vehicle. Kendo offers the best-in-segment package including the driver cabin and passenger area and combines all components with a maximum capacity of 13 meters to create an ergonomic space for the driver and passengers. Thanks to its ideal layout, the vehicle features the most spacious driver cabin compared to competitors’ models of the same size and capacity and is offered with different steering wheel and seating position options to ensure comfort and ergonomics for the driver. In addition to a standard version with maximum seating capacity, Kendo is also available with the option of folding seats in the middle section to create a wider standing and wheelchair area. Kendo is designed as an economical and green solution for shuttle, school and short-distance intercity transportation.

Anadolu Isuzu’s new design language

Building on the company’s experience with the Novo, Turkuaz and Visigo models, the 8.5m Grand Toro, intended as a shuttle, school or tourism bus for short- and medium-distance journeys, reflects Anadolu Isuzu’s new design philosophy. Aiming for lowest possible fuel consumption, Grand Toro comes to the forefront among similar competitors with spacious interiors for both the driver and passengers, and excellent luggage volume. The vehicle makes loading and unloading luggage more convenient through three lids on the sides, offering the largest luggage volume and lowest fuel consumption in its class.
