Intelligent transportation solutions will be developed for the cities of the future
Today, smart city applications are becoming a necessity due to the increasing population and the continuous migration big cities receive. Intelligent transportation systems developed in line with this need make life and mobility more sustainable for big cities by providing communication between vehicles, buildings, systems, pedestrians and objects. With its vehicles to be equipped with communication systems, which are a part of smart transportation, Anadolu Isuzu will make available data from more than 20 different fields to the use of cities and their residents.
Zafer Orhan, the General Manager of ULAK Communications, said the following in his evaluation: “As ULAK Communications, our goal is providing communication, an important and indispensable part of our age, in a sustainable, end-to-end and safe manner by taking advantage of domestic and national opportunities. In addition to this, we contribute to our country with our innovative, dynamic and R&D-based solutions. Our projects for Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), which will come into our lives with 5G, continue. With our solutions for V2X (Vehicle-to-Everything) technologies, we aim to make transportation safer, more comfortable and efficient. The technology move towards the domestic and national realization of both mobile communication infrastructures and vehicle production in our country creates an important opportunity for V2X technology, which concerns both sectors and will provide a great transformation. As ULAK Communications, we are pleased to have started a cooperation with Anadolu Isuzu, one of the well-established companies of our country. As a big step in the structuring of smart cities and reaching an important position in our lives, we hope that this cooperation will lead primarily to our industry and country and then the global market.”
In his assessment regarding the protocol, Anadolu Isuzu General Manager Tuğrul Arıkan said the following:
“As Anadolu Isuzu, we attach great importance to establishing and developing technology collaborations at the ecosystem level with our innovative approach.
